on GameTaste.com and to learn the in's and out's of GameTaste
The only contact you need on GameTaste is mailto:chuck@gametaste.com.
This keeps it simple. In emergencies, you can reach Chuck Rock
before 11 pm eastern at 336-831-5205. Only before 11 pm eastern!
+ Please make sure every member of your team understands that
respecting other GameTaste members is essential to being a
member of GameTaste. Being disrespectful, racist, harassing,
taunting, or cursing every other word will result in suspension
from any GameTaste matches and possibly expulsion from
    GameTaste all together.
+ There are 4 things that will get you suspended or expelled from GameTaste.
   1) Disrespecting; 2) Cheating; 3) Forfeits; 4) Vulgar Content.
+ Upon joining GameTaste, each team Captain must add "GameTaste Cpt 1" to
theirfriends list on X-Box live. If this friends list is full, add "GameTaste Cpt 2",
etc. You can only be on one GameTaste friends list.
+ Upon Joining GameTaste, each co-captain and team member must add one of
the following to their friends list: GameTaste, GameTaste 1, GameTaste 2,
   GameTaste 3, GameTaste 4, GameTaste 5, etc.
You can only be on one GameTaste friends list.
+ Each team should maintain at least 6 total members: 1 Captain,
   2+ Co-Captains, and 1 Warrior.
+ In order to stay a member of GameTaste and to participate in the GameTaste
Championship Tournament, you and your team must play at least 20 GameTaste
matches in each full calendar year. Starting 2009, each team playing 50+ total
GameTaste matches will be eligable for our MVP Tournament.
+ All content on GameTaste must be clean. All music, pictures, and profiles
must be kept free of cursing, racisism, nudity, etc. Anyone or any team   Â
found with any such content will be suspended or expelled from GameTaste.
+ When recruiting new members, make sure they specify what team they are joining in the comments section of their profile.
+ Only team members carrying your team initials in their gamer tag are allowed to serve as Captain or Co-Captain.
+ You must appoint one regular team member as a GameTaste Warrior (co-captains can not be Warriors). That person must be extremely respectful and knowledgable of all GameTaste rules. Warriors silently help police GameTaste, and, they serve as sustitute players for other GameTaste teams when needed. A Warrior may not serve as a sub if they are to play against their own team.
+ When playing in a match or tournament, at least one team Captain or Co-Captain must participate in the match at all times or you will forfiet the entire match.
+ GameTaste Division Leaders have full authority over GameTaste
and it's members. If you have a concern, you
should consult with them. They are here to
assist you in anyway possible and are very trustworthy and fair.
If you are unable to get your concern resolved, only then should
you contact GameTaste or Chuck Rock.
+ Inner GameTaste recruiting is not allowed by any GameTaste
team. Nor you or your team members are allowed to recruit from
other GameTaste teams. Anyone wanting to leave one
GameTaste team to join another GameTaste team must have it
approved by the Captains of both teams and Division Leader(s) prior to leaving.
If a member decides to switch teams on GameTaste without approval,
they will have to serve a 30 day suspension from all GameTaste matches
and tournaments. This rule is in place to insure the integrity
of our teams. There is absolutely no inner recruiting on
GameTaste. If a team or individual is found to be recruiting
from other GameTaste teams, suspension is probable.
   Â
+ When playing scheduled or non scheduled matches on GameTaste,
it is up to the Captains of the winning team to post the
results on their page. Only the winning team should post results. The
losing team can either agree with the results or dispute them. If the    losing captain disputes a result, you must email chuck@gametaste.com
immediately with an explanation. If no explanation is received, the results
will stand. If any captain is found posting false results, theÂ
entire team may be suspeded for a minimum of 90 days, or expelled.
This is a very serious violation.
+ Before playing a non scheduled match with a team outside of GameTaste,
you and the team you are going to play must both text ??? vs ??? to theÂ
GameTaste profile on XBox Live BEFORE the match. BOTH teams must do this.
If this is not done, do not post the results on GameTaste.
+ If you want to play an unscheduled match against a GameTaste team, simply sign in to GameTaste and challenge that team from their team page. Once their Captain has accepted, you may play that match and the winner needs to post the results.
+ It is highly encouraged that someone from each team, during a match, use their cell phone and take pictures of the T.V. screen between rounds showing the score. This information may be emailed to chuck@gametaste.com to resolve any disputes, if needed.
+ Any team forfeiting 3 matches in a row will be removed fromÂ
GameTaste for the rest of that year. With the
new scheduling system, you can opt out of being scheduled at any
time. Therefore there is no excuse for forfeits.
+ You can trick out your page with your own custom pics and
music. Everything must be clean with no vulger content. Any songs with
offensive/racial messages are not allowed. Anyone or any team caught
cursing on their profile will face immediate suspension or expulsion.      Â
+ If you need clan members we now have recruiting rooms on GameTaste.
One effective way to recruit are on the X-Box Live message boards. Simply
go to the Live forums, choose the game you play, and post a message
saying you are recruiting. Don't recruit to fast or you will do your team more
harm than good. If you ever get a bad apple, don't be shy about
telling them how it is and possibly kicking them. It only takes
one bad person to tarnish your teams rep.
+ Have all of your team members add GameTaste or GameTaste 1 to
their friends list...NOT BOTH! This will allow them to receive
messages from GameTaste and to connect with other GameTaste
    members
+ Every Co-Captain should add GameTaste 2 or GameTaste 3 to
their friends list...NOT BOTH! If you are in the Cobra or Viper
Division, add GameTaste 2. Scorpion or Raptor Divisions, add
    GameTaste 3
+ Please do not share your password with anyone for any reason If you
forget your password, GameTaste can reset it.Â
+ If you want to add to this Co-Captains page, please email your
    addition to chuck@gametaste.com"
All entries may not be used but will be considered on an individual basis.
GameTaste belongs to you and it's other members. We value you ideas and
suggestions and we build GameTaste from what you share
+ GameTaste will schedule teams in any games they want to play. We must have a minimum of 2 teams that play that certain game to schedule them. Games can change at any time depending on their popularity.Â
Teams which want to prticipate in the GameTaste Championship Tournament
(which is every November/December and is worth well over $1000.00 in cash
and prizes), must have squads in the 3 games chosen for the tournament (plus
one Overtime game). The tournament is a points based tournament, usually 1
point for each map won. It is encouraged that each team build squads within there
   team for each game
+ Every January 1st, each teams record will be reset to"0 Wins
    and 0 Losses"
+ Proxies are no longer used on GameTaste
  Â
+ GameTaste has the goal of having a better environment to play
in....but it can't be made perfect. Please use the tools you
have on X-Box live to block any communications with a disruptive
member or team. If GameTaste receives constant complaints on a
single member or team, GameTaste will remove them from our site.
We have in place a complex complaint system where members only can
post a complaint on a member or a team. When you click on the :Post a
complaint" link, it will show who complained and when. If a variety of
complaints come in on an individual or team, they will face suspension
or expulsion. If you need to be detailed in a complaint, email:
    complaint@gametaste.com. Please be detailed.Â
   Â
+ During the summer months, your team will seem like it's falling
apart because everyone goes on vacation or goes to stay with a
relative. Do not let this discourage you, it is quite normal.
Just keep recruiting and don't get discouraged at your missing
members. If you stay true to them, they will return when school
starts back. Anytime someone disappears, just consider itÂ
"missing in action". You will be happy when they return. Until
then, it is your job to hold the team together
+ GameTaste has a commitment to each and every team to make this
a more pleasant environment for everyone. If a team or
individual is sending you insulting messages, put it on your
screen, take a picture with your cell phone, and email it to
    mailto:chuck@gametaste.com.
We will take appropriate action. If it is a voice message, call
Chuck anytime before 11pm eastern at 336-831-5205 so he can
listen to it. At GameTaste we will not tolerate any type of
harassment or trash talking. If anyone has a problem with this
    approach, they shouldn't be on GameTaste to begin with;
+ Suspension is defined as: Suspended from any game, scheduled
or unscheduled, that is for the purpose of posting a win or loss on
GameTaste; And Suspended from any GameTaste Tournaments/Events.
Anyone found playing in a GameTaste Match/Tournament who is suspended,
will cause their entire team a suspension or expulsion
   Â
    + More to come!
