|  A Division Leader is an appointed position that enables you to help keep GameTaste a more pleasant gaming enviroment. Our #1 goal is to assist our members and newer teams so they become familiar with the ropes on GameTaste. Division Leaders are the eyes and ears of GameTaste, as well as the heart and soul. You are expected to reach out to your teams and offer them advice, get to know their leaders, and play with them when possible so they can feel welcome. You must lead by example through friendship and show them how we do things. If the reputation of a Division Leader becomes one of a tyrant, dictatorship, or a "Do Nothing", GameTaste must remove that position from the person and place it with someone who better understands our goals. This being said, this is what we ask of you: 1) When a new team comes into your division, email and voice message their Captain and welcome them to GameTaste. Add them to your friends list and let them know you are here to assist if needed. 2) Assist teams in matches when possible You are the Chief Warriors and can participate in their clan matches if needed. Of course your team comes first, but let them know if they need you, to let you know and you will be there if possible. 3) Monitor GameTaste as a whole. Join some random games on ocassion and make sure we are all acting within reasonable expectations. If you find someone (or an entire team) being disruptive, post a complaint on them. GameTaste takes its Division Leaders complaints more serious than any other and will handle it appropriately. 4) Try to handle any issues within your division with the assistance of your other Division Leader. It is imparitive that you both work together and that you both act in fairness at all times. Being fair is being a Division Leader. Doing what is fair is always a requirement of your position. 5) Always use patience. A Division Leader must lead by example at all times and never lose his/her cool. If you become known as a hot-head, you can not effectively lead a division. 6) Never go against the grain. If you don't agree with a GameTaste policy or change, discuss your concern with Chuck Rock. Not with everyone except Chuck Rock. Your cncerns are taken seriously, but we must all be tightly together to be effective in leading GameTaste to our next pinnacle. 7) Please make sure all members in your division know who you are and that YOU can resolve ny issues that come about. Know the GameTaste match rules and code of conduct like the back of your hand. 8) No longer can a warrior or anyone except GameTaste hand out a suspension. If there are any major concerns that you or a warrior believe a suspension is deemed, email a full description of the issue to complaint@gametaste.com. All other complaints should just be posted using the GameTaste Complaint System (GTCS). 9) GameTaste now has a state of the art scheduling system called G-Tass. Each of your teams can choose which games they want to be scheduled in. The G-Tass system schedules new matches every Sunday at 11:59pm. As long as your teams have a check mark by the game(s) they want to be scheduled in, and it's cecked prior to this time, they should be scheduled. f they check it after this time, they will not be scheduled until the following week. Once a match is scheduled, it must be played or forfieted. A team can opt out of being scheduled by unchecking any boxes.(Located on the team edit page and only seen by the team Captains.) 10) *more to come |
